A pair of Organic Danish Cotton Pot Holders – These potholders were inspired by the owner's Grandmother who would knit by hand colorful, absorbent dishcloths made of soft cotton. When the last of grandmother’s knitted dishcloths was gone and her grandmother was no longer here to make them, Dorte picked up the knitting needles and made them herself. More and more people wanted them and when Dorte could not keep up with demand, she found a way to make them using a knitting machine. Today these pot holders are ethically made on a knitting machine in India using super soft thick 100% Certified ORGANIC Cotton in a fabulous rainbow of colors! These pot holders are made with a garter stitch in a thick yarn to accomplish a nice and thick pot holder. Each set comes with 2 pot holders (AKA hot pads). Designed in Denmark. Ethically made in India. All the colors of the Solwang dishcloths, kitchen towels, guest towels and tea towels are made to coordinate with each other. Wash before first use as surplus color may occur. Each one measures 8.6" x 8.6". Please see the other Solwang products that we stock.
